Threading Workshop

Threading is fast becoming the most popular method for hair removal. Originating from India and the Far East, the method of plucking untidy hair using rolled threads is favored currently as it avoids pulling on the skin which is very sensitive around the eye area and therefore avoids drooping of the eyelid. This workshop course introduces the learner to the skilled technique of the ancient art of threading and is ideal for practicing beauticians or those who wish to learn the skill for personal use.

Students will be taught both methods of Threading (Hand and Mouth techniques)

Course Content

• The history of threading
• Client consultation and care
• Hygiene & Sterilization
• Pricing your threading treatments
• Practical study of threading on the: eyebrows, lip, chin and sides of the face

**A model is required for this course. Please ensure that they have adequate hair growth in all areas of practice. The lip, chin, brows and sides of the face will all be worked on**

Qualifications gained

- ABT Accredited Certificate

Entry Requirements

- Entry to this course is by direct application to the college. Must have waxing certificate to apply
