Melissa Clarke is an Award winning professional makeup artist and Is also known as one of Irelands top Bridal makeup artists.

Melissa has 11 years’ experience in the industry and is currently working as a Freelance makeup artist. She began working in the beauty industry after completing a full- time beauty therapy course. Graduating with worldwide qualifications with Diplomas in I.T.E.C   C.I.B.T.A.C and C.I.D.E.S.C.O in aesthetician and body treatments. Melissa has an excellent knowledge of skincare and uses this to create a flawless makeup look to suit individual skin types.

Following this, Melissa gained invaluable experience in beauty salons and spas which enhanced her skill set. Melissa then went on to study laser and Ipl in The Institute of Further Education Carlow which she qualified with a Distinction. She always had a massive passion and flair for makeup artistry and wanted to pursue it as a full time Job.

Melissa has been working as a freelance makeup artist for 8 years. She has experience in Bridal, Fashion, Tv and special effects.  She has gained experience in the music industry having worked on album promos and music videos for Irish artists and tv personalities. Her work has also been published in Chicago based beauty look Magazine and online Fashion.ie.

 Melissa specialises in bridal makeup, her passion and love for bridal makeup is evident in her work. Melissa has recently been awarded Mrs2be Bridal makeup artist winner 2018. She is also known for her highly skilled Instagram style makeup, where she has gained a large client base. Melissa is can adapt her skill set to suit all client’s individual needs and desires.

Melissa is consistently updating her skills with latest makeup trends, techniques and beauty training. Recently trained at P-Louise makeup academy and Mm-Mitchell Masterclass. Melissa has held makeup masterclasses throughout Ireland. Her love to share makeup skills and tricks brought her to her next venture. After intense studying melissa graduated in ITEC teaching and lecturing and is now a part time makeup tutor. Specialising in makeup artistry, Melissa tutors ITEC fashion theatre and Media makeup artistry at Gorey Institute of beauty.
